Part of EduScope India's biology lab equipment range, this genetics teaching kit was developed and refined in classrooms to make an otherwise abstract topic easier to grasp. The Teacher Demonstration Models comprise 30 large chromosomes arranged in five colourful sets, sized to be seen from the back of a classroom; each set has a maternal and paternal homolog plus four sister chromatids with alleles and parental lineage clearly identified, and the fifth set has removable alleles for demonstrating cross-over. Smaller Student Models let learners work through teacher-directed assignments at their own desks. The kit has no consumable parts, so it can be reused indefinitely, and it includes an Instructional CD and Teacher Manual with a pictorial slide-show walkthrough, recommended student activities, assessment options and a copyable student activity sheet. Overall kit dimensions are 21" x 19" x 5".
