It includes 33 Teacher Manipulatives - colourful, large DNA, mRNA, ribosome, tRNA and amino acid models that attach to a blackboard and can be seen from the back of the classroom - plus 180 Student Manipulatives, smaller models for students to work through the process at their own desks. For assessment, each student is given a unique DNA sequence and asked to identify the resulting amino acid sequence, with a teacher key included for quick verification, and an Instructional CD demonstrates how to use the kit as students see protein synthesis in action, model it themselves and are then assessed on the lesson. The kit measures 29" x 14" x 4".
