Description:
Charging System trainer unit offers functional training and study as shown below:
• To be part of an electrical systems program to present the live operation and study of charging system.
• The program provides optional instructional materials and diagnostic equipment for use by students and instructors.
• The trainer is constructed of laminated plywood.
• The front panel equivalent is Texan with 2nd surface graphics.
• The supporting legs are made from square steel tubing.
• Trainer uses actual new model vehicle components and connector. Includes:
• Alternator
• Regulator assembly
• Fusible links
• Ignition switch
• ½ HP motor with belt / pulley
• charging indicator light
• wiring harness
• power supply posts
Trainer operation – as actual charging system. The trainer is capable of connection to and operating from 12V automotive battery.
• System diagnostic – provides an advanced level of instruction by duplicating actual on-vehicle trouble shooting procedures. The trainer uses actual vehicle wire colors to be compatible with wiring diagrams. Capable of actual service manual test procedures.
• Operation manual – Provided instructor with Trainer Orientation, Start-up procedures, Equipment Operation, Maintenance and Service information.
