The Dynamo Model (AC & DC, Hand) is a hand-driven model of a motor/generator that demonstrates how electric current is generated to light a small lamp. It is a practical piece of physics lab equipment for teaching the structure and working principles of AC and DC motors and generators in school physics classrooms.

Construction and Specifications

The armature is fitted with both AC and DC commutators, and the contacts can be slid to switch between the two, allowing the same unit to demonstrate both alternating and direct current generation. It comes with a removable magnet and is mounted on a wooden base, giving it a stable footing for hand operation during classroom demonstrations.
