Crucibles, Gooch Filter with Cover, Porcelain
Product Code : EL-LGI-13262
Eduscope India is a leading Crucibles, Gooch Filter with Cover, Porcelain
Quick Answer: the Crucibles, Gooch Filter with Cover, Porcelain have a perforated bottom and matching cover, glazed inside and out except the outside bottom and rim, and are built specifically for determining total suspended solids — a specialized crucible tongs India lab technicians reach for in water-quality and environmental testing work rather than general-purpose filtration.
Rated to withstand 1150°C, this chemistry lab equipment India testing labs rely on should still be heated or cooled at no more than 200°C per hour to avoid thermal stress cracks. The porcelain body resists acids and alkalies well, with one notable exception: hydrofluoric acid will attack it, so a different crucible material is needed for HF-based digestion work. It's autoclavable for routine sterilization between test runs.
