Desiccator Vacuum Clear PC/PC
Product Code : EL-LGI-13264
Eduscope India is a leading Desiccator Vacuum Clear PC/PC
Quick Answer: the Desiccator Vacuum Clear PC/PC is molded from polypropylene (PP) and polycarbonate (PC) rather than glass, and holds a vacuum up to 740mm Hg for a full 24 hours without any greasing — a different sealing approach from ground-glass desiccators, relying instead on a silicone rubber O-ring seated in an internal flange groove and a PP stopcock with a self-lubricating PTFE plug.
As a piece of lab glassware/plastic ware/chemicals supplier India institutions stock alongside their glass desiccators, it pairs a transparent PC top dome and a transparent PC bottom for a crystal-clear view of stored samples, with a knurled knob on the dome for easy handling. The three-way stopcock plug opens to pull a vacuum, closes to hold it, and opens again to release it, so no grease or manual sealing step is needed. Like other chemistry lab equipment India labs use for sample storage, the whole assembly is autoclavable at 120°C for 15 minutes for routine sterilization between uses.
