A monocular biological microscope with 400x magnification.
Four rubber feet ensure stability and eliminate vibration.
Optics : A wide field WF10x and WF20x eyepiece combines with three achromatic objective lenses, 4x, 10x and 40x to provide magnification of 40x, 100x, 250x, 400x and 1000x.
Stage & Focus : A large, flat top stage offers two slide clips to secure specimen slides. Rack and pinion focus includes coaxial coarse/fine controls that are dual-sided for convenience and sized for smaller hands. The precision fine and coarse focusing brings specimens into focus quickly and sharply, making your all-around microscopic experience all-around awesome.
Illumination : 6-hole disc diaphragm to adjust light for best resolution. LED llumination is provided by 3 AA batteries with cooler, brighter illumination than the standard tungsten that most microscopes. The LED system ensures a long battery life, making it ideal for those extended field trips. With variable-intensity LED illumination you'll enjoy more flexibility for viewing greater specimen variety.
Head : The LED Student Biological Compound Microscope includes a microscope head inclined at an ergonomic 45 degrees. The head rotates 360 degrees comprehensive view and reduces eye and neck strain. This feature makes the microscope suitable for long-term use such as teaching demonstrations, and laboratory purposes.
