The Overarm high-speed router really excels at pattern routing. Simply place a template on the bottom of your workpiece and feed it against the table-mounted pin.
The overarm router can also be used for direct routing. The overarm router comes with an independently adjustable split guide. The guide pin is removed when the guide is used.
This type of routing is the same as routing on a traditional router table, except the router is mounted above the workpiece. The advantage of this is greater visibility of the cut while it is being made.
This machine features a 3 HP, 220 V single-phase motor that operates the spindle at 20,000 RPM, giving you clean, smooth cuts.
It uses a quick-adjust ring to control the spindle depth of cut with six settings on the ring.
The spindle depth stop can be precisely adjusted from bolts inside the headstock cover, which attach to the depth control wheel.
