The vessels are mounted in leak-proof metallic collars on an anodized aluminium profile frame with a painted steel panel for stability and environmental resistance, and the set lets students determine hydrostatic pressure and the linear relation between pressure and the filling head of the vessel. A lever arm and spirit level measure the weight at the base of the vessel, a vertical rod with a portable indicator fixes the fluid level in each vessel, and a fastening nut allows levelling, with a masses set and stainless steel stand rod completing the apparatus. The complete unit measures at least 600 x 500 x 600 mm and weighs approximately 40 kg.
