LaPlace Law Demonstrator
Product Code : EL-PLE-13180
Eduscope India is a leading LaPlace Law Demonstrator
Quick Answer: LaPlace Law Demonstrator gives students a moving, physical demonstration of the force a magnetic field exerts on a current-carrying conductor, illustrating Fleming's left hand rule.
The LaPlace Law Demonstrator is a compact benchtop apparatus from EduScope India's physics lab equipment India range, built to give students a clear, physical demonstration of the force a magnetic field exerts on a current-carrying conductor — the relationship at the heart of Fleming's left hand rule. As a hands-on physics demonstration kit India classrooms can run in minutes, it turns an abstract rule into something students watch happen.
How It Works
The base carries two separate parallel conductors that form a track, with a large U-shaped magnet positioned to straddle the gap between them. A conducting rod, fitted with a lightweight plastic disc, sits across the two rails and completes the circuit. As soon as current is switched on, the magnetic field acts on the current flowing through the rod, producing a mechanical force at right angles to both. That force sends the rod rolling along the parallel conductors, giving students a moving, visual result they can connect directly to Fleming's left hand rule as they work out the relationship between current, field, and motion for themselves.

EduScope India's physics equipment, including this LaPlace Law Demonstrator, is exported to South Asian markets such as Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan, supporting school and college lab equipping in the region.
This demonstrator is also among the physics lab equipment India EduScope India regularly supplies through bulk institutional and government lab-equipment orders, school chains and CSR-funded science-education programs.
Related Instruments
Classrooms building out a full electromagnetism unit often pair this demonstrator with the Hand Rule Demonstrator, which reinforces the same Fleming's rule concept through a related classroom setup.
