Signal Generator is an audio frequency function generator for accurate waveform generation in electricity and electronics experiments, a useful addition to any physics lab equipment setup in schools and colleges.

Construction and Specifications

This Signal Generator covers a frequency range of 1Hz to 100kHz across five decade ranges, with an amplitude of 0-10V. Users switch between triangular and square waveforms via a push switch with LED indication. Output is 0-3.5 Vrms (10V peak-to-peak) open circuit, variable through an uncalibrated amplitude control knob with the frequency multiplier and set frequency dial, at a low level of distortion. A mains rocker switch with indicator light ensures safe operation, and compact 200 x 150 x 100mm dimensions suit general laboratory use.
