Construction and Use
The full set contains a convex mirror, a concave mirror and a bracket. The mirror is inserted into the bracket and a laser pointer is used to illuminate it so that changes in the light path can be observed; the experiment is then repeated with the other mirror to compare how the light path differs, demonstrating the effect of convex and concave mirrors through direct experiment. The light source is best used with three beams of parallel light, and care should be taken to avoid dropping the mirror during use to prevent damage.
