Trundle Wheel
Product Code : EL-PLE-13198
Eduscope India is a leading Trundle Wheel
Quick Answer: Trundle Wheel rolls along the ground with a built-in counter to measure linear distance up to 99,999 meters in 0.2m increments.
The Trundle Wheel is a simple, field-ready instrument that rolls along the ground to measure linear distance. It is offered as part of our physics lab equipment India range for use in classroom, campus, and outdoor measurement work. As the wheel is pushed forward, a built-in counter tracks the distance covered, giving a quick and practical way to record distances without a tape measure.
Wheel Construction and Measurement
The wheel's rolling edge is fitted with a rubber rim that keeps a steady grip as it moves across grass, pavement, gravel, and other varied surfaces. Along the edge of the wheel, 1 cm markings allow for careful alignment and short-distance checks. A metered counter mounted on the frame reads distance in increments of 0.2 m and can register up to 99,999 meters, giving a clear running total as the wheel is rolled forward.
Handle and Portability
A built-in folding stand lets the Trundle Wheel stand upright on its own, making it easy to store between uses in a lab, store room, or field kit. The handle is adjustable, extending from 43 cm to 76 cm to suit different users and working postures, keeping the instrument comfortable to operate over longer outdoor measurement sessions.

EduScope India's physics equipment, including this Trundle Wheel, is exported to Southeast Asian markets such as Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam, supporting school and college lab equipping in the region.
This instrument is also among the physics lab equipment India EduScope India regularly supplies through bulk institutional and government lab-equipment orders, school chains and CSR-funded science-education programs.
Related Instruments
For outdoor exercises that combine height and distance measurement, such as estimating the height of a tree or building using angle of elevation together with horizontal distance, the Clinometer may also be useful. It is an angle-measuring instrument used to determine object height and works well alongside the Trundle Wheel for combined field-measurement activities, though it is sold separately as its own item.
