This kit is available in EduScope India's electronic lab instruments India range underPhysics Lab Equipment. It is built around two solderless breadboards, each laid out with 30 columns x 5 rows of connected tie-points, so component leads can be pushed in and wired up without any soldering. To link points on a board, or to connect one breadboard to the other, the kit supplies 4 long connecting wires, 6" and 4 long connecting wires, 8", plus 2 long connecting wires, 6", fitted with banana plugs for bringing in leads from an external source such as a power supply or meter. Rounding out the kit is a set of 130 connecting wires supplied in its own case, covering thirteen graduated lengths — 3mm, 5mm, 7mm, 9mm, 11mm, 13.5mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm and 125mm — so a jumper of the right size is always on hand for short in-board links or longer runs. Between the breadboards, the long connecting wires and the graduated jumper set, everything needed to lay out and wire a circuit is provided; only the active components, such as resistors, LEDs or capacitors, need to be added separately.
