Foam Calorimeters from EduScope India are built for classroom and laboratory investigations into heat transfer and thermal energy, and are part of our physics lab equipment India range. The two-part cup-and-lid design lets students track a temperature change with minimal heat escaping to the surroundings, a core skill in calorimetry experiments taught across school and college science courses.
Design
Each cup is molded from rigid foam, a material chosen for its insulating properties, so heat exchanged with the surrounding air stays low during a run. A fitted lid closes over the cup and includes a hole for inserting a thermometer or a digital temperature probe, so readings can be taken through the run without removing the lid and letting warm or cool air in.
