Equipotential Trough Kit
Product Code : EL-PLE-13162Eduscope India is a leading Equipotential Trough Kit Quick Answer: Equipotential Trough Kitlets students plot equipotential lines in a water-based electric field between two electrodes, using an included multimeter to locate points of equal potential.
The kit is designed for students to plot equipotential lines in an electric field created between two electrodes held at different electric potentials, and is part of EduScope India's physics demonstration kit India range underPhysics Lab Equipment. An equipotential line connects points in an electric field that share the same electric potential, meaning no work is required to move a charge between any two points along that line; mapping these lines gives a clear picture of how potential is distributed across the field, and since field lines always run perpendicular to equipotential lines, the same data lets students infer the direction and shape of the underlying electric field. The kit uses a simple setup in which two electrodes are partially immersed in water containing an electrolyte, allowing a small current to flow between them. Students use the included multimeter to probe the resulting field and locate points of equal potential, then join these points to plot the equipotential lines directly, giving a hands-on, measurable demonstration of field behaviour that is otherwise difficult to visualise.

EduScope India's physics equipment, including this Equipotential Trough Kit, is exported to Southern and East African markets such as Mozambique, Malawi and Angola, supporting school and institutional science lab equipping in the region.
This kit is also part of the physics demonstration kit India range EduScope India regularly supplies through bulk institutional and government lab-equipment orders, school chains and CSR-funded science-education programs.
It is part of EduScope India'sPhysics Lab Equipmentrange. The kit is supplied with a multimeter for sampling the field; a spare or replacement unit is available separately as EduScope India'sMultimeter, Digital. For a broader grounding in electricity and magnetism fundamentals, theAdvanced Electricity and Magnetism Kitmakes a useful complementary resource.
