Thermoelectric Demonstrator
Product Code : EL-PLE-13142
Eduscope India is a leading Thermoelectric Demonstrator
Quick Answer: Thermoelectric Demonstrator shows the two-way link between heat and electricity, demonstrating both the Seebeck and Peltier effects on one benchtop unit.
For the Seebeck effect demonstration, one of the apparatus's two aluminum legs is immersed in ice-cold water while the other sits in hot water; the temperature difference maintained across the legs generates a small electric current, enough to turn the unit's small turbine — a direct, visible illustration that a temperature difference alone can do electrical work, and a working example of the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Plugging the apparatus into a DC power supply reverses the process for the Peltier effect demonstration: passing current through the unit makes one strip heat up while the other stays cold, showing the same thermoelectric junction working in reverse. A set of two 24-inch banana connecting cords is included for making the electrical connections needed in this physics demonstration kit India setup.

EduScope India's physics range, including the Thermoelectric Demonstrator, is exported to Caribbean markets such as Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana and Barbados, supporting school and college lab equipping in the region.
This demonstrator is also among the physics lab equipment India EduScope India regularly supplies through bulk institutional and government lab-equipment orders, school chains and CSR-funded science-education programs.
It is part of EduScope India's Physics Lab Equipment range, and pairs well with a Thermometer for reading the hot and cold water baths, and the Calorimeter with Stirrer for related heat-transfer experiments.
